Lovely place, always pop in to have a look, went several times in and had a wonderful chat. There is always a good range of new works. Even if I didn't buy I was welcome back to see the new works. I bought several months later, a lovely piece and really enjoy it. The gallery management is excellent and very approachable.

For me this is the best art gallery in Brighton. They have quite a wide range of artists with constantly changing exhibitions. It's a lovely gallery just to come and look around... it feels like a place to just stand and enjoy the art on display with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Kirsty, who runs it is wonderful and a great artist in her own right and they have a great dog too!

Open for just over a year the gallery has had a series of themed exhibitions by both promising and established artists and the choice of work on show has always been a mix of everything from the 'gentle' to the eclectic and 'challenging'. The portraits by Kevin Hendley and Victoria Kiff (one astonishing piece) sit with the works of Claire Beattie (trees), Faye Anderson (animals) and more abstract works of of Maria Kuipers and others.Ceramics and sculpture are equally well represented in both quality and variety. The space is inviting and Robin and Kirsty are warm 'hosts' which allows time for relaxed and considered viewing. In a recent conversation with friends we talked about finding 'excellence' in Hove, the Gallery immediately sprang to mind. For anyone in Hove interested in art this is a 'must visit'. For anyone visiting Hove this belongs on the shortlist of 'should see'.

So pleased I stopped in to have a look at the beautiful Amy Dury exhibit. They sell a range of beautiful work here and also jewellery, clothes and other things suitable as gifts. The owner was so friendly and chatty, we will be back.
