Chappell Contemporay is the only place I would buy Art!!!Paula goes above and beyond to help you find your perfect piece for your home. I bought a gorgeous print from her and she got it framed for me perfectly and I couldn't be happier.She has such a great eye for Contemporay art and is always updating the shop, making it a must visit when you are on Whitstable! ♡

Chappell Contemporary is always the first visit on our list when in Whitstable, and always our go to for new art work. We have been working with Paula for just over four years now and she has got us some amazing pieces from some great artists which always get commented on in our house. Paula always manages our last minute purchases when we have left presents to the last minute. 100% recommend (as we regularly do to any of our friends looking for art!).

Recently purchased two pieces from Chappell, and the service has been beyond reproach. Paula not only provided insight into the artist she features, she assisted with helping us choose artwork & frames that matched our homes interior design. The frames are superb quality and matched with amazing museum grade glass. 5-stars isn't enough!

A wonderful space, curated with passion and love. The place is cool, and calm and zen, full of surprises and twists. The Team will advise on how to hang pieces in your home, and a history of the artists so the pictures take on a human quality. I used to buy too many shoes and handbags, now I buy a Chappell Contemporary work to inspire me, and to cheer me up!

We walked past Chappell Contemporary whilst it was shut but a piece in the window caught my eye. I contacted them and Paula the owner responded very quickly. There was no hard sell. I ended up buying it but couldn't get to collect it for another month as I live in London. Paula has been so helpful and responds quickly to questions. The piece is now home and has pride of place in my hall. Paula and her assistant provided faultless customer care. I shall now follow them on Instagram and hope to purchase further from her. Thanks for everything Paula ????

I'm a little bit addicted to this gallery (in a good way of course). Paula is always very helpful and pretty much knows what I'm going to like before I see it! I'm often getting great comments about the the pieces I've bought but I'd love them whatever. An interesting gallery well worth a visit if you're nearby.

We hate to see small independent business owners being run down by jealous rivals. There is certainly enough art business to go around and this gallery is outstanding and well worth a visit. No hard sell, no sales pitch, no pressure. Browse and shop at your leisure, if the art isn’t for you the gallery owner understands. It’s modern, contemporary and a little different!! We enjoyed your gallery immensely and will return. Thank you Paula & keep up the excellent work!!

I discovered Chappell Contemporary while following an artist on Instagram. I kept thinking it would be the perfect holiday gift for my fiancé.We live overseas from the gallery, in the US, so I had a lot of questions to navigate this process. Paula was amazing! She was quick to replied to my emails with all the answers I needed. Passionate about the work, providing additional images to help see the work in detail. Very helpful, friendly & organized, she quelled any reservations I had about making this long distance, sight unseen, transition.The image arrived in preteen condition, perfect packed for its journey to our home. And fast too!Highly recommend Chappell Contemporary! Was a pleasure working with Paula. She made everything flow effortlessly. I look forward to working with her again.
