Jian Chen's Fine Art

Today as I visited Cardiff, walked past Jian Chen's store and saw a piece which I was immediately attracted to, so much passion emotions and thoughts had gone into the art piece, which also bought back personal memories So glad I just happened to walk past.

What a lovely calming little haven of a shop. I stepped in and immediately felt relaxed after the hustle and bustle of the streets. Jian is a very lovely lady and makes you feel very welcome.

Amazing artworks! So full of characteristics! There are all kinds of little prints from magnets to framed pictures. Also if you really enjoy one certain piece, you can check her original artworks at the shop basement, they are for sale as well????.

I have watched this beautiful woman's artistic style nurture and grow for many, many years now. And the intricacy, intimacy and skill of her eye and brush strokes leave you spellbound. Not to mention the absolutely wonderous brilliance of her chosen vibrant colours, splashed across parchment, board, t-shirt, key-chain or coffee mug, is quite simply... breath taking.She transports you to places that you wish you could go to. Snuggle up to. Be near. And in this rather negative era we find ourselves living in, having gorgeous "visual escapes" we can adventurously climb into for comfort, soothing the weary soul, is like a desert retreat in itself. A happy tonic, both heart-warming and smile inducing.But Jian's work speaks for itself. Her bold, awesome flourish is quintessentially "out of this world". I have several of her fine pieces, hanging in prominent, strategic positions. They have enhanced my living and work space no end. Each variation of temperament bringing a very different feeling into the room. I found I was able to use one of her enchanting pieces of art to transform my living space, and others I simply piggy-backed onto her artistic designs to encourage and loosen my own creative juices when it came to further interior design work.Her Fine Art is invigorating and inspirational, albeit descriptive words I'd apply to this very lovely lady herself. Her personality shines through her work. A labour of love.

Just picked up the picture of the clifton suspension bridge that my mum picked out for her 80th birthday. We were just walking around trying to find something a special and all the beautiful pictures caught our eyes and we walked in and my mum spotted it and that was the one. Although so many other ones are gorgeous it was difficult. The clifton Bridge holds many special memories for mum so that was the one. Nice to have something different for a big birthday.

Fantastic!!! I discovered the store by chance and I fell in love seeing the number of drawings there were. It's hard to leave there without a memory haha. Excellent treatment and highly recommended to visit.

Jian Chen’s Artwork is just beautiful, really colourful and detailed and also affordable :) I purchased a couple of small prints as birthday presents and hope to get some larger ones for my house later on. Really lovely artist who was open to discussing her work and even showed us the originals downstairs in the studio. Well worth visiting!

I was on vacation in Cardiff, I found Jian Chen's shop by chance while walking around and I immediately fell in love with her artwork. I bought two small pictures and a mug as souvenirs of my trip there. Thank you Jian Chen for your wonderful artwork and your warm welcome.

Jian's artwork is so beautiful. I've bought a lot of small prints over the past few years and they never fail to impress me when I look at them. Everything is priced fairly as well; if anything I'd be willing to pay more for her artwork!
