I have been here many times, and will be back many times in future as the McManus Galleries is a jewel in Dundee's crown and is an absolute credit to our city. I always make a point of taking friends who are visiting and havnt been here before as it gives real insight into Dundee's past and present. Free entry, lovely cafe and fantastic displays, a place that Dundee is rightly proud of.

El museo por dentro está bien, tiene una parte de arte moderno y otra con historia de Dundee, desde la prehistoria, los romanos y diferentes etapas y formatos de la ciudad, connlos cambios que ha experimentado, sobretodo con la construcción del puente sobre el río Tay. Y por fuera es un edificio espectacular. Vale la pena pasear tanto por dentro, que es gratis, como darle la vuelta por fuera y admirar su arquitectura.

We spent a couple of hours viewing and learning about a variety of things, all about Dundees industrial past, connections to far flung places in the world, modern history, the great and the good prominent people who have shaped Dundee and the wider world. Also the natural history and ancient history going back to Pictish times. Fascinating, educational and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

There is a varied selection of artifacts from natural history, the arts and artifacts that show how Dundee was shaped through the years.The staff were very friendly and informative.There is also a cafe and a shop within the museum and entry is free.
