Visit to see Cut and Run Banksy exhibition. Great to see some insight into to this man's work and how he got to where he is in the art world. Great venue and staff were very pleasant.

Banksy cut and run was superb, and I arrived at about nine AM on Saturday. I asked about entry and was directed to the box office queue { about 5 minutes } to get a ticket . Staff were polite, informative, and friendly. The exhibition was fantastic, and even thru the wonderful exhibits, the building still shone thru. Your phone is locked into a canvas pouch with retail magnetic security technology until you leave the exhibition

Went for the Banksy exhibition which is excellent apart from one thing, partner is having dificulty standing still due to an operation and in the first half, you do a lot of standing still. This is due to having to walk through small room showing the infamous auction of the painting that destroyed its self. Everybody was stopping to watch it which causes a backlog and you can not avoid it. Should have had it in an area off the trail. Be warned if you find it hard to walk or stand for any length of time. Otherwise its an excellent exhibition.

Just went to see Banksy, having waited for months and planned a whole highland tour around it. The exhibition is great, but I really came here to thank the staff who noticed I was feeling faint and helped me with no fuss. You guys are amazing and real pros. Thank you so much for.helping me to recover and continue to see these amazing works.

The Banksy exhibition is basically sold out. Booking tickets online is highly recommended. We could only get tickets for the wee hours. The building of the Gallery of Modern Art sits in the middle of Glasgow and is very easy to reach. The exhibition did not make much use of the building itself which looks a bit like an ancient Greek sandstone temple. The Banksy exhibition was fun and the street art exciting. All in all an excellent experience.

Free modern art gallery in an iconic building. Has 4 floors of exhibits; none of which are that large. There's a library as well. I spent just under an hour. Staff said that exhibits rotate - so I won't mention any particulars.

It's a pity that the art gallery is closed. You can take pictures at the door and look at the buildings.- - -renewWhen I entered the art museum during my second visit, there was an elevator for those who needed it, as well as restrooms, gift shops, and libraries. Each floor has its own exhibition hall to visit, which is recommended to everyone.

Glasgow's Museum of Modern Art, located in the heart of the Scottish city, is a must for lovers of contemporary art. In addition to its permanent collections, the museum regularly offers temporary exhibitions it's on Banksy as we went there

Interesting small permanent collection in a antique building.Bansky show was in main gallery and a admission with a timed ticket was required. Furthermore the artist required all phones be locked in a pouch to prevent photography. So much for free street art for the people.Exit through the gift shop.

Banksy exhibition, if you have an interest in his work and the humour behind it, this is definitely worth it and as it's open all night made the 1 am entry a great choice with less to no queues. No photos as cameras are sealed before going in which I liked, nobody can ruin it for others. Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes … More

Quite compact but nicely laid out gallery if modern art right in the centre of Glasgow. Most of the exhibitions are free though occasionally the gallery will stage a large exhibition with an entrance fee such as the 2023 Banksy retrospective. For me it's one of Glasgows highlights.

Beautiful modern art gallery with a shop on the ground floor. There are not many exhibition rooms and you can visit them in about an hour, with free access. Pretty, with beautiful works; you have to like the modern genre which is not always understood. Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No … More

A great contemporary gallery with a nice mix of interesting work. Really enjoyed visiting there. However it was extremely annoying that the staff shut up shop minutes before closing time at 5pm, even toilets, ushering everyone out minutes before 5pm. Its more than their jobs worth to allow a few minutes after closing?! Shame...a bad impression to be left with for such an important gallery. Its not a shop or a bank or a post offce .....

I don't really like some forms of modern art, but a visit to the museum is still worth it. Some works are of undoubted interest, others I had the impression were there to fill empty spaces. The appreciation and applause remains for the free use! Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No … More

Doesn't work! The highlight is the buildings history displays in the centre of the building. Not sure why there's some excellent images and pieces in there but just doesn't leave you feeling inspired just somewhere between depressed and blimey some of the artists should really just get themselves a proper job and pack it in!!!But why?Surely this museum could do a better job?

More than art.Good layout, cute gift store, and little library and cafe in the basement. I don’t really understand modern art, but I love that it exists for residents for free. There’s also creative stations for you to engage with the the art and create art. They also put a lot of focus on making sure resident visitors know the resources available for them like free feminine hygiene resources for menstruating women, food programs for those in scarcity. They are doing more than most museums of modern art. Love that.
