They used to be two galleries on the Southbank. Now there is one in Gables wharf it’s been there for over 20 years. It’s a fantastic place to buy affordable art by a collection of artists who you meet when you go to the gallery.

I found a wonderful piece of ceramic art at Skylark Galleries. This piece really caught my eye due to the color and composition. My daughter is a ceramic artist so I have spent a lot of time looking at and collecting beautiful pieces of ceramic art. This one is special. I live in the USA but when I saw it, I just had to have it and the shop wrapped it carefully so that I could transport it safely back home in my luggage. This came with a wall hanger. I can't wait to find the perfect place for it so that I can enjoy looking at it for many years. Gorgeous! I love the bold color and organic inspired pattern.

We have visited the lovely Skylark Galleries on a few occasions and were always made extremely welcome indeed. I was great to be able to chat to one of the artists who was manning the gallery and to be able to look at all the wonderful exhibits, and I also bought a lovely small print by one of the artists. Always great to pop in to see the latest art works.
