Located in the heart of Oxford on Osney Lane, Ovada is an exceptional art gallery that offers a diverse range of exhibitions, workshops, and classes. Blown away by Dido's Bar, visitors are captivated by the stunning eclectic jazzy musical performances and the opportunity to enjoy delicious soup kitchen food before the show. The gallery also hosts excellent workshops, such as the recent oil painting portraits workshop with Robin Danley, although they may need to address some electrical issues. Ovada is known for being a grassroots art space that fosters creativity and community engagement. It has become a cultural renaissance for Oxford's avant-garde society and attracts both local art enthusiasts and those passionate about modern art. With a fantastic team at its helm, Ovada offers a great space for artists and visitors alike to connect, learn, and be inspired.

Blown away by Dido's Bar. Exceptional band, story, voices in this stunning eclectic jazzy musical. Worth well over £20 per person and enjoy soup kitchen food for £10 before show. A few tickets on door if you get there before 18h30.

Excellent workshop on oil painting portraits today with Robin Danley. Though the electrics need not to fuse so often! Other than that it's a top space.

A scuzzy industrial building that is now used as an art gallery. I visited for a private view of Oxford Brookes fine art graduates.

A vital and interesting place, and a fun creative arts space...However recently it feels as if it is becoming a little less inclusive and more corporate. I thought it was perhaps my imagination, however several friends of mine have said the same thing. A pity, still worth a visit though.

Cultural renessance of Oxford avant-garde society but also local enthusiasts of modern art. Great place to meet interesting people with different pallets of ideas.

Saw art from the Janus Collective! Everyone was lovely, the space is really interesting, but it is so cold in there. Just bring an extra layer and you'll be okay.
