Wow! Visited the Pop up gallery in St Ives in Dec on a whim whilst out with friends. Had been looking for a particular seascape I had in my mind and liked some on display but they weren't quite "the one". Met Kat gallery director fresh from her morning surf who was engaging, fun and listened to what I wanted. That afternoon she contacted me, having spoken to the artist Christine Brunnock she was working on something that might work. The painting Kat had sourced was AMAZING and exactly right. SO to cut a long story short I found my perfect picture! Thoroughly reccomend this gallery, a completely personal approach and gorgeous artwork.

I love St Ives contemporary for its innovative and exciting pop up gallery events, which feature some really lovely artists both local and from further afield. Kat the director is very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about the artists she works with and really gives you the time to understand each piece.There’s a never a hard sell, and you always feel you can browse without being hassled. The website is well designed with easy ways to pay and a no fuss try before you buy option. Highly recommended!!

The summer pop up show was a breath of fresh air from all the other art galleries in the area. Kat's energy and passion is magnetic. There was space outside for the kids to draw with coloured chalk getting them involved and appreciating art too! I can't wait for the next show and find a new piece for my home.

I've worked with Kat the Gallery director for a number of years now, and have always really enjoyed her professionalism, kindness and care. St Ives Contemporary is a wonderful gallery and Kat has some fantastic artists on board - this space is well worth watching!
