This place feels a bit of a dumping ground. So much stuff is crammed in. There are some works by notable potters and artists but priced at stratopheric levels compared to other sources. You can't see the stuff properly. For example there is large Batterham teapot at the back of a glass cabinet for £3,800, at knee high level. Hard enough to sell at that price level let alone the fact it is crammed in and cannot be seen properly anyway. The same goes for all the other contents. No information about provenance to justify prices. Just small white labels from Office Supplies with the price scratched on in biro. It seems customers don't deserve much better. If they changed one floor to be a store and then rotated stock to be displayed in the way the items deserve (and customers deserve in view of price levels being expected) they would probably have four times the turnover. The staff always seem timid rabbits located behind the counter, more intetested in whether carrying your bag around could cause some damage. No one around where you feel you could confidently ask a question and get a detailed informed response. The whole set up has a hint of arrogance and contempt. Maybe it is actually just really storage for someone's personal collection??? Who knows!

I have visited Primavera regularly over the last 9 yrs as a customer and one of their artists. There are so many beautiful works of art I always see something new. You are encouraged to browse all rooms over three floors in your own time. It's a calm space full of excellent work.

This shop/exhibition is amazing. There is a wide verity of media and styles in the art on display. There are so many rooms leading off the small main one it’s almost like entering the tardis! Would definitely recommend visiting.

We were delighted to spend a few hours at this extraordinary shop. It has a splendid selection of art pieces in every price range. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I strolled through all the rooms several times and wondered how I could take home all the pieces I wanted to purchase. In all my decades of travels and visiting shops representing artists and artisans, I do not recall coming across one where both the atmosphere and the selections were as appealing as here. Inga, a potter herself, will explain all the artists in great detail. It was a pure joy to be there and of all the great things to do in Cambridge, I am putting this shop first. The best jewelry I have seen anywhere, most beautiful ceramics, furniture, paintings, and more.

Great collection of British arts and crafts. Crammed full (be careful looking round) with well chosen objects from coffee cups and jewellery to large paintings and sculptures. The shop contains a wide variety of work by artists from the internationally renowned to new local talent at a wide variety of prices.
