Saw a painting by Colin Cook in the window whilst on a weekend break to York. Returned home and phoned them to purchase. Very professional, lovely little gallery that packaged the painting perfectly and sent by courier. Arrived today.

I dropped in there the afternoon 24 Sept 2018 While visiting England from Western Australia I loved this little gallery even though it was undergoing a reorganisation at the time..

What a wonderful little gallery - it is one of my happy places. And it's nice to have interesting/interested conversation with the chap behind the 'counter' (it is often the lack of gentle conversation that deters me from returning to a place). The prices are very reasonable, too. I love, love, love, it.The current exhibition, Aspects of York, brings our beautiful city alive - the instantly-recognisable streets are presented to us in so many different and interesting ways. I look forward to their next offering.

Small but beautiful gallery. Prints by the gallery artist are beautiful and reasonably priced.Across the street nearby (on Bootham) is a plaque commemorating the birthplace of W.H. Auden.
