The Braithwaite Gallery

Just popped in to see some of the artwork and fell in love with some of the prints. Was helped by a lovely gentleman and lady who helped me to both find a beautiful print from a very vague description for what I was wanting, and also assisted me with my indecision of frame colour for the artwork's selected.They also kindly stored my purchases until later in the day to collect on leaving the city centre. Could not be happier with the experience, assistance and artwork.Thank you so much.

I have been admiring some pictures for some time and found them at the Braithwaite Gallery.... What a find!! I ordered them on line, and within a few hours i received a call enquiring when would be convenient to deliver. I wanted them as soon as possible and within two days they have been delivered. What lovely people, professional and friendly service and wow, the product is beautifully finished. Thank you so much!! I will definately use them again!

Love that place! Lovely staff with very excellent skills. I bought there 3 printings and the wrapped it carefully so that I can take it home in the car without damaging the edges. The people are very supportive.

We discovered the gallery during a small getaway in York.We bought a couple of prints, as we couldn't carry more items on the plane.We fell in love with one specific piece from Adam Barsby that wouldn't fit in our bag.I contacted the gallery a couple of months later and Anne helped me to buy it and get it sent over to Barcelona.I can't wait to receive it! I left a review that should have been full 5 star but accidentally changed it to 2 as I posted. My picture is amazing it is of York during the flood. The reflections on the water at dusk are mesmerising, and the use of colours makes the piece so atmospheric that I can't take my eyes off it. I was informed by a very friendly and informative gentleman that it was painted by M. Braithwaite for the York flood appeal.

I ordered the "Anticipating" canvas as a gift, and I couldn't be any happier with my experience. The order arrived quickly, safely, with amazing customer service from Anne, who was a huge help with any and all enquiries that I had. Fantastic Art Gallery. The Art I viewed in this Gallery was exceptional on the floors. Very polite staff too. I will definitely be going in again next time I visit York in the summer.

It should tell you something when the lowest review is 4 stars.We had a trip away and saw Mark on the street. Not far from his gallery.Saw what we liked, Mark ensured it was perfect before handing it over ( for a modest amount of dosh).It's now framed and hangs in our lounge - it looks fantastic.Deep joy meeting the artist tooTickety Boo ! as they say

The Braithwaite Gallery is a must for me every time I visit York. I love Mark’s paintings and have the pleasure of owning a couple. Winters peace is by far my favorite and I love looking for Lucy in every new painting he does.
