Visited today 13/06/23 and bought a new Vettriano to add to our collection. The customer service from the young lady was outstanding and with this in mind we are considering returning for a further purchase at our earliest convenience. Highly recommended !

I visited this gallery last week and was lucky there was a sale on. There were lots of different styles it artwork.The lady who served me was lovely and very helpful. I bought a Lowry print.

Helpful staff, great artwork to choose from. Could be more keen on the prices, but willing to negotiate, which is always a plus. I believe they also have another shop up in Newcastle/Gateshead.

Back in January, myself and my girlfriend visited york for a trip away after I applied for my uni course in the area. And whilst we were there, loving the city and its stunning history and culture, we stumbled into Coppergate and found this fine art gallery. All I will say, is that I’m glad we did not read the reviews for this shop at the time. But now that I look back to our experience then, the reviews weren’t wrong. The owner seemed fairly passive aggressive at the time and found himself to be relatively controlling as customers went in and out of the shop. However, as of yesterday, my views on the gallery and its service to its customers have changed completely. Myself and my parents took a visit to the city once again, and despite my knowledge of the reviews from January and what I felt at the time, I wanted to give it another go and see if any changes had been made since then. I can now definitely say that the staff are welcoming and willing to discuss any arrangements or queries about the art to a good standard. I am happy to see that the changes have been made since the previous owner and that as always, the art is looking as great as ever.

Im Glad we didnt read the reviews or we may not have gone in. I walked in and enquired about a piece in the window and without asking the Lady (Meron) brought it out to let me have a look. Meron allowed me to take a picture of the artwork to send to my wife to confirm it was the Artwork my wife had previously seen. We went back both of us later on the Friday and paid to pick up on Sunday when leaving York. On the Sunday went in to the shop a helpful young man took my name asked for the written receipt produced the painting bubble wrapped and covered in brown paper. We couldnt ask for more helpful efficient members of staff. Meron also sent a link to John Todd the Artist for some background on the artwork. A truly excellent service. Thank You

We've recently redecorated or living room and we're thinking about art, so popped in. Immediately we were drawn to a wall, with many empty spots, of Digby Page pictures. Only being in town for a couple of days, and with his work being popular that week (there was a sale on) we picked a couple we liked quickly. One was in a frame we didn't like, but they reframed it for us to match the other piece and we picked them up the next day. An excellent experience, the staff were superb, very helpful, and lovely to talk to. I'll be sending photos once the pictures are on the wall.
